Thoughts from Coach Chip Wilson
"This was a very competitive meet today, and I was anxious to see how we would respond to the level of competition. I thought we were prepared and confident, and once again, our team responded well to the challenge."
"Sam is continuing to improve his technique in the long jump and high jump, and came up big for us with first place finishes in both events, including a Denison meet record in the long jump. Mitchell is also continuing to improve in the Shot and had a strong day. We had several young guys are up today like Makai in the 60 meter and Brennan in the 3K. It was great to see them rise to the level of their competition."
NEXT UP FOR THE COUGARS
Both teams will travel to Indiana Wesleyan University next Friday, February 17th to compete in the IWU Invite. This will be a two day event starting Friday afternoon and stretching into mid-day Saturday.
