10 Student-Athletes Selected to the 2025-26 CSC Academic At-Large All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team, men's lacrosse team, men's and women's golf teams, as well as the MVNU men's and women's bowling teams each had student-athletes receive recognition from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday, June 16.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes At-Large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.

The College Division is comprised of institutions from two-year colleges, Canadian institutions, and other institutions who are not affiliated with the NCAA and NAIA divisions.

In the At-Large program, nominations are limited to up to six candidates per gender per school for a maximum total of six men's or women's at-large candidates per school.

 

The following student-athletes were each selected to the Academic All-District Team.

Men's Bowling: Jacob Burre

Men's Golf: Will Streby

Men's Lacrosse: Ethan Haney and Zechariah Gee

Men's Volleyball: Tyler Monnin and Xander DeVault

Women's Golf: Mary Weisburn and Ryan Satterfield

Women's Bowling: Abigail Larkin and Rebekka Matlack

 

To qualify for Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be a sophomore academically and athletically, must carry a 3.50 or higher grade point average and must have met certain participation requirements in the sports of men's and women's bowling, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's volleyball and men's and women's wrestling.
