Kade Ruegsegger Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. - The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's basketball team saw one of its very own make the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for the NAIA.

With a strong season on the court and in the classroom, Kade Ruegsegger landed a spot on the team. To earn a place on the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, one must be at least a sophomore academically and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.

Ruegsegger is in the midst of a strong season for MVNU. The junior accounting major from Dover, Ohio is currently averaging a career best 18.2 points per game to go along with a career-high 4.7 rebounds. Ruegsegger is also shooting a career best 45.8% from the floor to go with 37.8% shooting from three on the season.
