Men’s Golf Places Fourth at Roger Merb Invitational
MCDERMOTT, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's golf team competed in the Roger Merb Invitational at the Elks Country Club on September 22-23.
MVNU had a good day on the greens, placing fourth out of 19 teams. MVNU's A team finished with a total of 593 (297, 296) through the two days and was plus 17 overall. The B team placed ninth overall with a score of 624 (312, 312).
Bennett Hill led MVNU, tying for sixth overall with a total of 144 (71, 73). Will Streby placed tied for 11th with a total of 147 (75, 72). Tyler Goetzman placed 17th overall for MVNU with a total of 150 (75, 75), while Camden Bille was tied for 30th with teammate Jack Mayle with a total of 153 over the two days, rounding out MVNU's top five finishers.

MVNU next competes in the Battle at Stonehenge on September 29-30 at 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. at the Stonehenge Golf Course in Winona Lake, Indiana.
