Men’s Golf Competes at Egypt Valley Championship
ADA, Mich. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's golf team participated in the Egypt Valley Championship, hosted by Taylor University on October 6-7.
MVNU placed 5th overall out of the eight teams competing in the tournament, finishing with a total of +90 over the course of the three rounds. Taylor University claimed first overall with a +28.
Bennett Hill led MVNU with a top 10 finish, placing eighth overall with a total of +13 (+6, +3, +4). Jack Mayle tied for 17th with a +23 (+8, +6 +9), while Isaac Gessner tied for 27th with a +27 (+10 +11, +6). Will Streby finished tied for 39th with a +38 (+12, +16, +10) and Luke Walton was tied for 41st with a +39 (+17, +5, +17).

The men's golf team wraps up the fall season at the Holy Cross Invitational in Notre Dame, Indiana at the Warren Golf Course on October 20-21.
