Men’s Golf Turns in Strong Performance at Holy Cross Invitational
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's golf team wrapped up its fall season on a strong note in the Holy Cross Invitational at the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame on October 20-21.
MVNU placed fourth overall out of 11 teams. The men put together a performance of +73 (+31, +42) during the two-day tournament.
Jack Mayle led the way for the Cougars with a top 10 finish, placing sixth overall with a mark of +14. Carter Hancock and Bennett Hill tied for 14th with a +18 each. Will Streby placed 24th with a +24 and Hunter Smith finished tied for 37th with a +30 over the course of the two days.
