Bio

Head Coach Kaleb Blevins enters his first season at the helm of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Men’s Soccer program. A former collegiate player at Ohio Christian University (2016–18), Blevins brings a wealth of coaching experience and knowledge from work with multiple nationally ranked programs across the NAIA, UPSL, and NCAA Division I levels.

Blevins began his coaching career as Recruiting Coordinator at his alma mater, Ohio Christian University, before moving to Montreat College (N.C.) as a graduate assistant coach. During his time with the Cavaliers, he helped guide the program to an AAC Semifinal appearance in 2021 and coached seven All-AAC honorees.

He then transitioned to the NCAA Division I level as an assistant coach at Bowling Green State University where he contributed to a record-setting season in which the Falcons allowed the fewest goals in school history. Under his guidance, BGSU produced two All-MAC First Team selections, one All-MAC Second Team honoree, and the MAC Co-Goalkeeper of the Year.

In 2023, Blevins was appointed Head Coach and Technical Director of Inter Columbus FC (UPSL). He led ICFC to a conference championship and national tournament appearance along with a 14-3-3 record across the 23/24 seasons. Through this time, ICFC reached as high as No. 24 in the national rankings. His success earned him UPSL Ohio/Indy Conference Coach of the Week honors twice during his tenure.

Most recently, Blevins served as Assistant Coach and International Student Advisor at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he specialized in opposition analysis. During the 2024 season, IWU finished 14-3-3 and was ranked as high as No. 6 nationally.

In his first season leading MVNU in 2025, the Cougars showed immediate progress. The program achieved a rise in RPI, doubled the shutout total from 2024, and increased goals scored by eight points. Notable results included three road draws against the top 25 nationally ranked conference champions of the RSC, CCAC, and CL, along with a top 25 road win. The Cougars appeared in the ARC North Region rankings in each release throughout the season, climbing higher in the polls with each consecutive edition.

Blevins earned his B.A. in Sport Management and Business from Ohio Christian University and a Master's of Business Administration from Montreat College. He currently holds U.S. Soccer Federation B, C, and D licenses. In addition to his role at MVNU, he serves as Technical Director at Pride Soccer Club in Canal Winchester.
