Men’s Tennis Defeated by Bridgewater College to Start Spring Season
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's tennis team opened its spring season with a 2-5 loss against Bridgewater College in PTR Tennis Fest in Hilton Head, South Carolina on Sunday, March 1.
Despite the loss, MVNU saw a great performance by the team of CJ Danemayer and Nathan Fitzpatrick in doubles as the duo won by a commanding final score of 6-1.
Danemayer and Fitzpatrick continued their strong play in singles, each coming away with a win. Danemayer won his match by scores of 3-6, 6-2, and 11-9. Fitzpatrick took care of business, winning by finals of 6-4 and 6-3.

MVNU is back in action on Monday, March 2 in Hilton Head, South Carolina against Shawnee State University at 1:00 p.m.
