Red Storm too Much for MVNU
RIO GRANDE, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team (1-9) hit the road for a match at the University of Rio Grande (8-3) on Tuesday, February 18.
After dropping set one 17-25 and set two 22-25, MVNU showed its resiliency by battling back to take set three 25-22. The fourth set belonged to the Red Storm as it took the match with a 25-14 result.
Jackson Bush had a great effort on both sides of the ball, finishing with 9 digs and 6 kills. Noah Wineberg tied Bush for the team-high in kills with 6 of his own while also having 2 blocks. Austin Kolaczkowski returned to the lineup and guided the offense with 18 assists. The sophomore also had 3 blocks and 3 digs. Tyler Monnin anchored MVNU's defense, finishing the match with a team-high 10 digs.

MVNU plays at Cornerstone University on February 21 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
