Men’s Volleyball Swept by (RV) Lawrence Tech
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. - The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team (10-13, 7-10 WHAC) hosted Lawrence Tech University (16-6, 12-5 WHAC) at Ariel Arena on Friday, April 10.
Lawrence Tech swept MVNU, winning all three sets by a score of 25-21. The Blue Devils hit the ball extremely well in the match, hitting .400 compared to just .163 for the Cougars.
Tommy Tierney had a team-high 13 kills while hitting .400 in the match. The freshman added six digs to go with four service aces. Jaxson Snell had 18 assists and six digs while Austin Kolaczkowski added 14 assists and three digs. Christian Kyer had seven kills and a block.
What's Next
MVNU will play its last match of the regular season on Saturday, April 11 against Rochester Christian University at Ariel Arena at 2:00 p.m. It will also be senior day with the festivities set to begin prior to the match.
