Tennis Defeated by Wildcats at Ramser

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's tennis teams hosted Indiana Wesleyan University at the Ramser Tennis Courts on Tuesday, March 24.

The women's team played No. 20 IWU, falling by a final score of 0-7. Deah Bresson was able to get a set point against her opponent, but ultimately fell 1-6, and 0-6. Elisha Burson put up a fight against her opponent, falling in a hard-fought 5-7 game before falling in the second game 1-6.

The men's team would also fall by a 0-7 final. Blake Boyer pushed his opponent, gaining some points in each game, but fell by scores of 2-6 and 2-6.

 

What's Next

MVNU's men will host Mount Union on Thursday, March 26 at 3:00 p.m. and the women will next play against Saint Francis (Ind.) on Saturday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m.
