Volleyball Splits on First Day of IU Kokomo Invitational

KOKOMO, Ind. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (5-1) competed in the first day of the IU Kokomo Invitational, hosted by Indiana University Kokomo on Friday, August 25.

The Lady Cougars swept (RV) Campbellsville University in the first match by scores of 25-21, 25-11, and 25-23. MVNU would suffer its first loss of 2023 in its second match of the day against (RV) IU Kokomo, falling in three sets by scores of 25-21, 25-17, and 25-20.

What's Next

The Lady Cougars will wrap up the IU Kokomo Invitational with two more matches on Saturday, August 26. MVNU plays Saint Xavier at 10:00am, followed by Indiana East at 12:00pm.
