Bock Earns First Career Defender of the Week Honor
JACKSON, Mich. – Jessica Bock of the No.22 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (12-3) took home the honor of Crossroads League Defender of the Week on Tuesday, September 12.
The honor for the senior from Salem, Ohio is the very first of her career at MVNU. Bock helped lead MVNU to victories over Cornerstone, St. Francis (Ill.) and IU South Bend during the week and was a force defensively at the net. Throughout the five matches, Bock had 23 total blocks. Bock had a huge performance against Aquinas as she finished the match with 8 blocks.
Bock and the Lady Cougars will resume Crossroads League play at Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana on Wednesday, September 13 at 7:00pm.
