Men’s and Women’s Tennis Set to Start 2025 Season at Ramser

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's tennis teams are ready to start their 2025 fall season. Head Coach Jeff Bane is returning for his fourth year at the helm. 

Returning for the men's team is sophomore, Ryan Almovodar, sophomore, Blake Boyer, junior, Matt Easter, and senior, Noah Hill. Returning for the women's team is sophomore, Alanna Reyes, sophomore, Andi Green, sophomore, Maria Cottenden, and junior, Deah Bresson. 

On the men's team, Coach Bane brought in two freshmen: Nathan Fitzpatrick (Yreka, California) and CJ Danemayer (Cincinnati, Ohio). Both are looking to be immediate contributors. On the women's team, Coach Bane also added in two freshmen: Liz Hughes (New Lebanon, Ohio) and Annie Mahek (Shelby, Ohio). The incoming duo adds more depth and will make strong contributions from the start.  

Both teams will start their season with the home opener against Capital University at the Ramser Tennis Courts on Saturday, September 6. The match will take place at 10:00 a.m.
