Women’s Tennis Drops Season Opener to Capital
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's tennis team (0-1) fell to Capital University (0-1) at the Ramser Tennis Courts on Saturday, September 6.
MVNU fell to Capital in its season opener by a final score of 1-6. MVNU won its point through doubles with two doubles wins. Deah Bresson and Annie Mahek proved to be a strong duo as they defeated their opposition by a score of 7-5. The win for Mahek was her first collegiate win.
Alanna Reyes and Andi Green also picked up a doubles victory against Capital, winning by a final of 6-2.

MVNU plays at Shawnee State on September 20 in Portsmouth, Ohio. First serve time is TBA.
