Women’s Tennis Falls to No. 10 Marian
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's tennis team continued competing in the third day of the PTR Tennis Fest against No. 10 Marian University on Tuesday, March 3.
The Lady Cougars could not score in the doubles or individual matches against Marian and took a 0-7 loss. Doubles team, Annie Mahek/Deah Bresson and Alanna Reyes/Andi Green both were unable to find momentum against Marian, which ended in a Marian win of 6-0.
Mahek and Bresson in their individual matches fell with scores of 1-6 in the first set and 0-6 in the second. Green dropped the first set 0-6 and 3-6 in the second set. Reyes and Maria Cottenden both lost in the first set with a score of 0-6 and the second set 1-6.

The Lady Cougars will compete in the final day of the PTR Tennis Fest in Hilton Head, South Carolina when taking on Clark University on Wednesday, March 4, starting at 4:30 p.m.
